I hope this is helpful to beginners...and interesting to the experienced..I really enjoy seeing others choice of gear and why they chose it.
I will in the future give some of the reasons for my choices.
I will do the weights in imperial too,(for that country that likes to do it the hard way :-))when I get some more accurate scales. Some of the above weights are a guess at the moment.
My last trip of three nights... pack = 14kg
Why? I left at last minute with tinned food and two man tent...on a summer trip your pack can be well under 10kg if your not in a too remote area.
